How far does 10 g go?
Our 10 g minimum is a generous starting point. Dried herbs are light, so a little makes a lot of tea.
Chamomile, mint or nettle at 2 g a cup≈ 5 cups
Honeybush or roots at 3 g a cup≈ 3 cups
Butterfly pea flowers at 1 g a cup≈ 10 cups
Baobab or moringa at 1 tsp (≈ 3 g)≈ 3 servings
- Store herbs in an airtight jar, away from light and heat.
- Leaves and flowers keep their best flavour for about a year. Roots and barks keep for longer.
